Jon Hamm And Kristen Wiig No Longer Sex Buddies In Friends With Kids Trailer

The moment a child is brought into this world life is forever changed. The new ensemble comedy Friends with Kids is a step beyond Friends with Benefits, showing how a close-knit circle of friends change when the married couples in the group have children. Now the last two singles in the group observe the effect that kids have had on their friends’ relationships and wonder if there’s a better way. So they decide to have a kid together but date other people.

While the premise sounds similar to that of Life As We Know It with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel – though that paternal relationship grew out of a tragic event – Friends with Kids, judging from the trailer looks to be a New York yuppie St. Elmo’s Fire with a tinge of sitcom schlock.

Friends With Kids is written and directed by Jennifer Westfeldt, who previously co-wrote and directed Kissing Jessica Stein. The ensemble comedy stars Adam Scott, Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Megan Fox and Edward Burns. Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions will release Friends With Kids on March 9th.
