ProWrestling.net reported that Randy Orton returned to live WWE action on Sunday at a house show in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
According to the report, Orton came out to face Wade Barrett but attacked Wade before the match started. This led to other superstars coming out to pull them apart and then Randy hit some RKOs on everyone in his way (including Kofi Kingston) after Barrett ran off.
CB’s Slant: Orton’s injury prevented him from coming back to WWE TV last week, but with Randy’s house show return on Sunday it can be assumed he’ll be back as part of either Raw live on Monday or SmackDown’s taping on Tuesday. Randy has long been rumored as a leading internal candidate to win this year’s Royal Rumble, so he may be coming back before being fully healed to fulfill that prophecy.
