Joy Division To Reunite Over T-Shirts?
by JodiLynn on January 27, 2012

Peter Hook, formerly of Joy Division and New Order, says that the recent controversy over Disney shirts paying homage to his band “might just be the thing” that brings them together again.  Disney had recently created a Mickey Mouse t-shirt styled after the Joy Division album “Unknown Pleasures”, but pulled it from their website due to legal threats from former members of the band.  Hook joked recently that given all the money he’s spent in Disneyland, they owe him some money anyway.  Shirts that shipped before the ban are currently selling for $200 and up on Ebay.
