WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for 1.30.12 – Royal Rumble Fallout, Triple H Returns, New Hall of Fame Inductee Reported

News, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

Tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw will feature the following key items:

–COO Triple H returns to evaluate John Laurinaitis’ job performance as the Interim General Manager. With Johnny Ace clearly abusing Zack Ryder lately and having his back turned on three separate occasions at last night’s Royal Rumble when CM Punk scored falls over Dolph Ziggler (only to jump in and join the other ref’s count on the fourth pin fall that counted for Punk), all signs would logically point to a move to sub-basement B for Mr. Laurinaitis, but who knows? CM Punk will surely have something to say as well. In fact, he already did.

–There will be additional fallout from last night’s Royal Rumble, most notably the continuation of the Kane-John Cena-Zack Ryder storyline, Chris Jericho’s (non-Twitter) reaction to not winning the Royal Rumble, and Sheamus huge victory that gives him a WrestleMania main event of his choosing.

–As reported by several sources and just officially announced by WWE this afternoon, the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame is none other than Mike Tyson (for the Celebrity Wing, of course), and that TV announcement is set for tonight.

–Lastly, Beth Phoenix scored a strong pin-fall at the Rumble last night during an 8-Divas tag match, and then Kharma returned as a surprise entrant in the Rumble match itself. Could these two be on a collision course on the Road to WrestleMania? I certainly hope so.
