Mel Gibson has had a rough 12 months or so. After The Beaver went from being a near Oscar shoe-in in both picture and for Gibson as an actor to an unsupported winter release into theatres due to Gibson’s personal problems, his latest film is bypassing theatres altogether. Plot Summary: Mel Gibson plays a man who is convicted of a crime and sent to a tough Mexican prison, where he learns to survive with the help of a nine year old boy.
