WWE Hall of Fame Update: Another Rumored Inductee plus Current Plans for the 2012 Ceremony

As reported by PWInsider.com, Ron Simmons is the latest inductee into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame class. While WWE has not officially confirmed this report, Simmons’ colleagues and friends in pro wrestling have been tweeting their congratulations.

Most notably, Simmons’ former APA tag partner John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) tweeted: “Thrilled that two of my great friends and former tag team partners are going into WWE HOF! Congrats to Barry Windham and Ron Simmons!”

And Sean Waltman (X-Pac) said: “I want to congratulate my friend Ron Simmons on his induction into WWE HOF! Highly respected. Incredibly explosive power. Very believable.”

Also, PW Insider posted the following update that is WWE’s rumored plan for the 2012 Hall of Fame induction ceremony:

-Stone Cold Steve Austin inducting Mike Tyson

-Triple H & Shawn Michaels inducting The Four Horsemen

-Christian inducting Edge

-Alberto Del Rio inducting Mil Mascaras

-JBL inducting Ron Simmons*

-The Rock inducting the late Yokozuna*

*Inductees heavily rumored but not officially announced by WWE
