During Spider-Island, it was revealed that the mysterious scientist in Horizon’s Lab’s Lab 6 was Michael Morbius. In Amazing Spider-Man, #679.1 Peter Parker finds out who his neighbor is:
Later in the issue, we find out that Morbius has been keeping Dr Curt Conners as a prisoner (in full Lizard mode) in order to test a synthetic blood that he hopes will be able to cure Morbius of his condition:
