After the team’s battle with Superboy last issue, Kid Flash’s body is losing molecular cohesion. Robin decides to take him to a nearby young “super” he knows about. Since they are in New York, it turns out that the young super is Virgil Hawkins, A.K.A. STATIC! Static is able to use his position at STAR Labs in order to construct Kid Flash a new suit to save his life.
To be honest, this appearance was better than just about anything that happened in Static’s own series, my only gripe is that we never really get a clear shot of what the new costume looks like:
I really hope that when his own series ends, Static ends up joining the Teen Titans!
