Van Halen’s “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour rolled into MSG, bringing all the confetti and David Lee Roth that the crowd could handle. The show featured an actual dance floor on the stage for Dave to bust a move on, plus a sober Eddie Van Halen and tons of big hits for the excited crowd. The background vocals were possibly piped in, however, since fired bassist Michael Anthony provided almost all of them throughout the years and replacement Wolfgang Van Halen is probably still going through puberty.
