Manny Pacquiao is a fairly religious man, attending Roman Catholic Mass on the mornings of his fights. Now, though, the multiple weight class champion is giving hints that he may or may not retire.
He told a Filipino radio station that God has told him he must retire soon.
“I will not stay long in boxing because He said ‘You have done enough. You have made yourself famous, but this is harmful.”
In an interview with DZMM, howeever, which was also broadcast on the Teleradyo TV show he stated that he didn’t expect his new religious beliefs to impact his boxing.
“I will do my work inside the ring.”
