Aerosmith continues touring, despite not having released a new album of material in over 10 years with nothing on the horizon. The tour will kick off in June in Minneapolis and wrap up in August in Tacoma. Joe Perry has been more accepting of Steven Tyler’s role on American Idol as of late, as he apparently no longer considers the show “One step above Ninja Turtles” as he was once quoted as saying. This newfound solidarity might actually lead to a new, non-greatest hits CD actually getting made and released in May as promised, who knows. Although as a word of warning, Tyler has declared that the group will be kicking ass and making out with your mothers on the tour, so you might want to leave you mother at home if you want to prevent that sort of thing.
