WWE SmackDown Spoilers for Friday 04.06.2012 – WrestleMania Rematch, John Laurinaitis in Charge and Teddy Long’s Fate

News, Spoilers, Top Story

Below are WWE Friday Night SmackDown spoilers for Friday 4/6/12 that were taped in Orlando, Fla. and featured more post-WrestleMania 28 fallout for John Laurinaitis, Teddy Long, Daniel Bryan, AJ Lee, Randy Orton, Kane, Cody Rhodes, Big Show, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio:

Opening Segment: John Laurinaitis brought Teddy Long out to offer him a job. He said you can take your job and shove it but Johnny mentioned Teddy’s grandkids need it for college and said Long can have a job if he says Ace is better than him. Teddy ultimately gave in and told Johnny you’re better than me. Ace then sent Teddy to the back to start his undisclosed job and announced the handicap match that followed.

Match 1. Mark Henry and David Otunga defeated R-Truth.

Match 2. WrestleMania 28 Rematch: Randy Orton defeated Kane, this time in a No DQ match.
Orton DDT’d Kane on a chair. Kane attempted a chokeslam on the chair but Orton RKO’d him on it instead and scored the pin and the win.

Match 3. Ryback beat Barry Stevens. Squash.

Segment: Daniel Bryan was interviewed. The crowd screamed “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Bryan broke it up by yelling at AJ about the KISS OF DOOM at WrestleMania 28.

Match 4. Big Show beat Heath Slater. Cody Rhodes was on commentary and Big Show aired Cody’s embarrassing Mania moment from Sunday. Show won easily, Cody tried to run in, but Show then hit the WMD on Slater with Cody looking on and retreating.

Raw Recap: A video recapped the C.M. Punk and Chris Jericho segment from Raw.

Match 5. Nikki Bella beat Beth Phoenix in a non-title match.
Kelly Kelly interfered and Nikki got the win.

Raw Recap: There was a John Cena flashback from WrestleMania, and then a recap of the Brock Lesnar return from Raw.

Match 6. Alberto Del Rio defeated Sheamus by DQ. Del Rio grabbed a chair while the ref wasn’t looking, then Sheamus grabbed the chair from ADR and when the ref turned around, Del Rio acted like he had been hit with it — shades of Eddie Guerrero — so the referee disqualified Sheamus. Afterward, Sheamus got mad and nailed the ref with a Brogue Kick.

Dark Match

1. John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Big Show beat Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, and Kane. The finish came with Orton RKO’ing Kane and Cena hitting the Attitude Adjustment for the win.

Of note: The “Yes! Yes! Yes!” were booming loud all night long.
