Newly crowned WWE Divas Champion Layla El gave an emotional interview to WWE.com following her title win over the Bella Twins* at last night’s Extreme Rules PPV:

*Layla actually pinned Brie Bella to win the match after the Bellas tried to use Twin Magic. Former Divas Champion Nikki Bella, who slid out of the ring, was not actually pinned in the loss of her own championship.
Layla also tweeted the following message after winning the title last night: “Thank U guys 4 all Ur Support! Its been a long Journey! I’m so happy to be back! New Diva’s Champion Let the fun times begin #flawless”
