In what seems to have been an arduous casting search, Spike Lee now has the major pieces in place for his remake of the 2003 Korean revenge thriller Oldboy, originally directed by Park Chan-wook.
Sharlto Copley, who burst on the scene with the Oscar-nominated District 9 and was pitch-perfect casting as Murdock in Joe Carnahan’s big screen version of The A-Team, will play villain Adrian Pryce. Pryce is a mysterious billionaire trying to methodically destroy the life of Joe Douchett (Josh Brolin).
In addition to Copley and Brolin, the cast also includes hot newcomer Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene).
