Aaron Sorkin continues to get the big piece of chicken when it comes to penning adaptations. From Charlie Wilson’s War and Moneyball to his Oscar-winning The Social Network – not to mention his return to television with HBO’s upcoming The Newsroom – Sorkin is firing on all cylinders.
In a press release issued by Sony Pictures, Aaron Sorkin will be adapting Steve Jobs, a motion picture based on the biography of Apple’s co-founder by Walter Isaacson. The project is being produced by Mark Gordon, Scott Rudin and Guymon Casady.
For Aaron Sorkin this will be his third consecutive go-around with Sony Pictures who distributed both The Social Network and Moneyball. The studio also distributed his A Few Good Men which he adapted from his own stage play and was directed by Rob Reiner.
