Following the major Helspont developments in Superman #8 recently, also came some interesting new developments on the Daemonites front in the New 52. There is a new creative team on Grifter lead by Rob Liefeld that brings us these changes as of that book’s May 2012 issue.
In this new issue, Grifter #9, we learn that the blue Daemonites we’ve seen in the DC Universe so far are scouts. A new militant red sect of Daemonites debuted as more of a warrior caste.
In addition, Grifter is positioned as the Chosen One in the New 52 that will lead the rebellion against the Daemonite threat.
