Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell Receives Award

Alice In Chains rocker Jerry Cantrell was honored this week with the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award. He was awarded the honor at the eighth annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit in Los Angeles, for his help in aiding fellow musicians through addiction recovery. Cantrell said: “It’s been an amazing day. It’s overwhelming, I’m as imperfect as they come. I just don’t get high today and wake up the next morning and try and do the same thing.”
