SDCC 2012: Matt Wagner’s The Tower Chronicles Previews Exclusively on Comixology

News

July 11th, 2012 – San Diego, CA. / New York, NY.

Matt Wagner, the creator of Grendel and Mage,  Thomas Tull, Executive Producer of 300 & The Dark Knight, and the amazing  Simon Bisley (as seen in Lobo, 2000 AD) have pulled together to deliver The Tower Chronicles, which cleverly enough chronicles the cases of John Tower, supernatural bounty hunter. If you’re one of the brave souls fording through the masses at San Diego Comic Con, Legendary Comics and comiXology invite you to stop by the Legendary booth at #3920 and check out the preview firsthand on LG devices.

Or you can feel free to download it right now, because if you don’t have comiXology, you should(my personal recommendation).

You can read the official press release below. Or just take my word for it. I paged through it, it’s awesome.

Legendary Comics (a division of Legendary Entertainment) debuted at Comic-Con International 2012 today the first preview of The Tower Chronicles exclusively on comiXology, the revolutionary digital comics platform. Comic fans worldwide will now be able to experience the first 12 pages of The Tower Chronicles Volume 1 — Legendary’s latest comic book series co-created by Legendary Chairman and CEO Thomas Tull and written by Matt Wagner, with art by Simon Bisley. And for those fans attending Comic-Con International 2012, they can stop by the Legendary booth (#3920) and experience The Tower Chronicles Preview on LG mobiles devices through the comiXology app.

“It’s incredibly exciting to bring this preview of The Tower Chronicles out for all our fans at Comic-Con and worldwide through the comiXology digital platform,” said Legendary Comics editor-in-chief Bob Schreck. “You have to see to believe Matt Wagner’s and Simon Bisley’s storytelling and art in comiXology’s revolutionary Guided View technology.”

“When we launched the comiXology digital comics platform three years ago, Matt Wagner was in the launch group of comics, so, as a life-long fan I’ve been waiting with baited breath to get a look at Legendary’s The Tower Chronicles,” said comiXology co-founder and CEO David Steinberger. “Fans won’t be disappointed. The Legendary team has knocked this out of the park!.”
