San Diego Comic Con 2012 has begun! With Thursday’s Edge and Dark brand DC Comics New 52 panel, Rob Liefeld writer of Grifter, teased the return of the former Jim Lee / Wildstorm flasghip title Wild CATS.
- “I think you’ll be surprised [with Grifter #0] . We give Grifter his sensei character, reveal a gay named Warwick. The zero issues have been fun to reveal more about what motivates these characters”
Voodoo is joining the Grifter book for a storyarc starting with #13
“One by One it seems like these WildCATS characters are coming together… what’s up with that?“
We’ve seem Zealot debut in Rob Liefeld’s Deathstroke and Warblade is making havok in Ravagers. However, in the DC Comics New 52 there is always a twist. Perhaps this teased new incarnation of Wild CATS might include classic DC characters like Deathstroke and Hawkman — also written by Rob Liefeld — alongside Grifter, Voodoo and Zealot alongside some surprises?
