SDCC 2012 Tidbits: Shazam Complete 1970’s TV Series DVD Details Announced

Following up on the news that broke before San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2012 that all signs pointed to an upcoming announcement of the classic 1970s Shazam TV series to DVD, the first clue was the AMAZING Jerry Ordway drawn promotional poster that was being offered during SDCC.

Well, the details of new DVD collection confirmed at the Filmation panel during SDCC, Warner Bros started allowing the pre-order on the WBShop.com. The DVD collection will be available in the U.S. online on September 18, 2012. It is a 3-disc set, a disc for each of its 3 seasons. The set has a suggested retail price of $34.95. shop online store (see button link below). The 3-disc set is priced at $34.95 SRP, and will begin shipping to U.S. customers on September 18th. Based on previous practicem fans outside of the U.S. can expect the Amazon CreateSpace MOD program to make the DVD collection internationallyt shortly after the U.S. release date.
