Yesterday over at Comics Nexus they posted images of the logos and concept art for the forthcoming Marvel Studios releases of 2013 and 2014. Thor 2 is officially called Thor: The Dark World and the Captain America sequel is now Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Thor: The Dark World will hit theaters November 8, 2013, while Captain America: The Winter Soldier has the pre-summer release window of April 4, 2014.
In addition to logos being revealed for Marvel Studios’ “Phase Two” of superhero films leading up to the eventual Avengers 2 (this includes the Thor and Captain America sequels plus Iron Man 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man), the highlight of Marvel’s panel may have been Robert Downey Jr. strutting down the aisle making a grand entrance. You can tell that Downey is loving every minute of the atmosphere of Comic-Con, as he makes his way through the jammed pack crowd inside the San Diego Convention Center’s Hall H.
