In an effort to keep himself relevant, Charlie Sheen has thrown his name into the would-be pot of American Idol judges. Apparently it was heard somewhere that producer Nigel Lythgoe had mentioned Sheen’s name in regards to a possible judge. Sheen says: “It kind of came out of nowhere and I responded with a quote, just to sort of check the temperature of it or test the waters. Haven’t heard anything back, I guess it got some people curious.” There is no word yet on if Lythgoe is seriously considering Sheen or not.
