UFC 153 Line Up Shakeup – Edgar vs. Aldo, Quinton Jackson out – Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar In
by Scott "Kubryk" Sawitz on September 12, 2012

It’s been a wild 48 hours in the UFC as UFC 153 in Brazil has had a wild change up in its line up. The particulars below:

Quinton Jackson vs. Glover Teixiera is off. Jackson hurt his elbow and withdrew from the fight. Fabio Maldonado steps in for Jackson.

Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar is off the card entirely; Aldo has a foot injury and no replacement fight for Edgar has been made. That fight will be set at a late date.

Anderson Silva will return to the light heavyweight division to take on the other half of the first season “Ultimate Fighter” finale. After dismantling Forrest Griffin in remarkable fashion, Silva will take on Stephan Bonnar at light heavyweight.

Also being added to the event is a heavyweight tilt as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira takes on Dave Herman.
