Full Trailer For Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln

For the longest time it looked like this film would never get made. Director Steven Spielberg would get sidetracked, delivering us a sequel to the Indiana Jones Trilogy that we thought we needed but turned out to be further from the truth, and playing with computer animation with The Adventures of Tintin. Still, while Lincoln may have been on the backburner, it would seem that last year’s Oscar-nominated pic, War Horse, was a tune-up to what was waiting in store for this mammoth period-piece production.

In a joint partnership that see DreamWorks and 20th Century Fox producing the feature and Disney’s Touchstone Pictures handling the domestic release, it would seem that everyone in Hollywood is conspiring to make this one a success.

Watch the trailer below and let us know if it tries too hard in wanting to be an Academy Award prestige film.
