After Jason Miller discussed how he never got his knee fixed after the C.B Dollaway fight, ostensibly to his claim that the UFC never paid up, Dana White went back on the offensive.
On a post in the Underground White dropped a bit of a bombshell in the form of an email from Zuffa’s medical claims manager.

Here are all of the medial records I have for Jason.
We paid for his MRI and Doctors visits. At his last appointment Dr. Limpisvasti told him he needed to bring in his films to review before any surgical decisions were made, which he never did. At this point without Dr. Limpisvasti seeing the films I am not sure how he is saying we denied a surgery that has not been requested yet.

Kubryk’s Analysis: Mayhem and Dana White never saw eye to eye and the fact that White would release all this information, especially on a web forum, is fairly interesting in and of itself. This isn’t a runaround, as many would try and claim: a surgeon can’t be booked for an operation without seeing the patient, et al, and seeing the results of all the primary tests done as well. It’s just basic common sense.
As someone who’s had a full shoulder reconstruction I can say first hand that the orthopedic surgeon who cut open my shoulder looked over everything with me and discussed the types of surgery available, et al, before scheduling surgery. Things like operating rooms and nurses, as well as various machines, need to be scheduled for the type of surgery to be performed. Surgery is expensive and time consuming, as well as resource consuming, thus a final consultative appointment where Mayhem and the doctor in L.A break everything down makes sense.
This is one of those odd cases where Mayhem would seem to be right based on anecdotal evidence of Zuffa’s past history dealing with fighters BUT White releasing all this info gets you closer to the truth.
