Fight Announcements – UFC on Fox 6 in Chicago Gets Fights And More
by Scott "Kubryk" Sawitz on November 7, 2012

A handful of fights have been announced by the UFC. Most importantly the UFC has also announced they will be running another show in Chicago for their UFC on Fox series. No location has been named but it’s being targeted for 1.26 and the United Center is open that Saturday.

Flyweight Title: John Dodson vs. Demetrious Johnson (c)

Commentary: After Dodson stopped Jussier da Silva he stepped into the #1 contender role. Makes sense to do it as soon as possible, as both fighters are healthy, and spot-lighting it on a Fox card will do a lot for both men.

Donald Cerrone vs. Anthony Pettis

Commentary: Another great fighter and the winner probably moves on to a title fight with the winner of Nate Diaz/Benson Henderson

Quinton Jackson vs. Glover Teixiera

Commentary: Rampage wants out and out badly. He also wants to fight Teixiera as well. Could be a great star-making opportunity for the Brazilian.
