On Wednesday, I had the chance to interview So You Think You Can Dance 9‘s Cole Horibe and George Lawrence II at the Sony Centre on November 7, 2011 before their Live! Tour Stop in Toronto.
I asked Cole about whether him fusing martial arts with dance has made it cool for guys to dance now and what the reaction from the martial arts community has been. George told me about the best parts of the tour and we also discussed what it was like being in Canada for the U.S. election. The pair also told me about their favourite performances from the season and if they just know if a routine is going to be good based on who the choreographer is.
