In light of the BIG developments of Amazing Spider-Man #698 and the teaser pic from Amazing Spider-Man #700, it is no surprises that ASM #698 is starting to heat up on eBay.
The regular cover of Amazing Spider-Man #698 has been selling for around its cover price of $3.99.
The 1:25 50th Anniversary variant cover however has been selling anywhere between $11.95 and $49.99 averaging in around the low $30’s.
A combo pack with both issues has actually sold for as high as $100.
Now this reflects sales within the last 48 hours. There are several active auctions up on eBay. It is anyone’s guess if the regular cover’s sales will gain steam and whether the variant’s initial “value” continues to grow or stabilizes.
In addition, despite Marvel printing quite a bit of the regular cover, Marvel has announced it has sold out and a second print is in the works for Amazing Spider-Man #698.
