Former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin Considering Retirement?

News

Cung Le might have knocked the 38 year old former UFC Middleweight champion off his feet, but he won’t be the last opponent of Rich Franklin’s career if he can help it. According to ESPN, Franklin sat down with manager JT Stewart recently and is currently going to “wait and see” if he will commit to more than fighting in the final fight of his contract with the UFC.

If Franklin does step away from the sport today, he would leave with a 5-5 record in his last 10 fights with KO losses to Le and Vitor Belfort during that time.
