WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for 12/17/12 — Last night at WWE TLC (Sunday 12/16/12), the match results were mostly status quo. However, the show was not without its surprises and the big water cooler moment was saved for the ending of the main event Ladder Match between John Cena and Dolph Ziggler when the diminutive AJ Lee made the biggest impact of the night. AJ — clad in John Cena gear, no less — first ran in to attack Vickie Guerrero, and even gave Vickie a Five Knuckle Shuffle. This allowed John Cena to climb the ladder while AJ skipped around the ring gleefully … before turning on John, pushing the Ladder towards the ring rope and allowing Ziggler to Super Kick Cena before walking up and claiming the MITB briefcase.

With all that said, the obvious storyline focal point for tonight’s post-TLC episode of Monday Night Raw will be this:

Why, AJ, Why?

Moving on, tonight’s Raw will also feature the 2012 Slammy Awards, where viewers will be able to vote for all of the winners through WWE’s mobile app. One interesting note is that AJ Lee was already voted Diva of the Year through WWE.com … before last night’s heel turn at TLC.

Lastly, there seemed to be another character shift at TLC last night that is worth mentioning here. Alberto Del Rio — the Mexican Aristocrat and my 2012 WWE SmackDown! performer of the year — actually paired up with The Miz and the Brooklyn Brawler to pummel 3MB in a match that was booked after Del Rio saved Ricardo from being put through the Spanish announce table during a Miz TV segment.

Could this mean Del Rio is turning face?

All that and more on Raw … tonight!
