It’s odd to think that of all the fighters that have been mentioned, linked to or signed to fight on a Strikeforce card from the UFC that the one that actually does it is Ed Herman. “Short Fuse” will be making his Strikeforce debut on the January card, Strikeforce’s showtime farewell, against former middleweight champion Ronald “Jacare” Souza.
Herman is coming off a loss to Jake Shields ruled a no-contest due to Shields’ post fight drug suspension. Jacare stopped Derek Brunson by punches in August on a Strikeforce card.
