In his Christmas Greetings to fandom on his Facebook page, DC Co-Publisher provided the following greeting earlier today:
Merry Christmas to Everyone!
Even you Wally. maybe I’ll see you in the New Year.
So, is DiDio teasing fans of Wally West, DC’s pre-Flashpoint Kid Flash and later adult Flash? Looks like 2013 may feature Wally’s return. Or it is a cruel holiday joke.
Also, following our feature earlier this week chronicling the efforts of DC Comics in the seeding of a new WildCATS team in the New 52 through Justin Jordan’s Team 7, Bleeding Cool is reporting today a rumor that Jim Lee still plans to work on a new WildCATS series. However, with his current plan to work with writer Scott Snyder on Man of Steel, a Superman title, in 2013, the WildCATS plans have shifted to 2014.
Well it appears that plan hasn’t been abandoned for Man Of Steel, merely postponed, with a planned launch date for 2014. San Diego Comic Con would be a good place to announce it.
I hope this materializes.
Merry Christmas Wally West and WildCATS fans, oh, and everyone else too!
