– Just about time for my personal favorite PPV of the year, The Royal Rumble!
– I don’t understand why I can’t watch the pre-show on my TV if I paid for the PPV.
– Instead I have to watch a stuttering feed of what should be at least a decent US Title match.
– Good match but a nasty looking injury for The Miz. Makes you wonder if he’ll be ready for the Royal Rumble.
– My prediction? I still like my idea of having Dolph Ziggler holding the MitB case & being the Rumble winner.
– Well that was a HUGE babyface rub for Del Rio from The Hitman.
– You know that the WWE set designer is swearing up a storm backstage.
– I would not be surprised if Del Rio has a concussion after that table spot.
– One of the worst finishes ever was when John Cena duct taped Batista to the post in a Last Man Standing match. Hello, deja vu.
– Besides the finish, that was a pretty solid World Heavyweight Title match.
– Gotta love the old-school backstage Royal Rumble promos. Used to be one of my favorite parts of the Rumble!
– Actually surprised to see Team Hell No retain again. Thought it was Rhodes Scholars’ time on top.
– Rumble match up next? Guess Rock vs Punk is going on last so let the speculation run wild!
– WOW! Chris Jericho entering the Rumble NEVER EEEEEVVVVVEEEERRRR crossed my mind!
– Santino looked like Charlie Brown leaving the ringside area.
– Very cool to finally see Goldust vs Cody Rhodes in some form…
– The “worst way to use a ROLLING CHAIR” award goes to Kofi Kingston.
– A lot of guys in the ring at the same time this year but still a TON of memorable spots. Good Royal Rumble so far!
– And Sin Cara RETURNS to his COMPLETE LACK OF POP!
– So Ryback’s #30. I’m guessing we see Ziggler & Ryback as the final 2.
– DAMMIT! Guess it’s about time Cena got his second Rumble win.
– DAMMIT! I was hoping I was wrong… Especially since I’m going to ‘Mania.
– Oh dear God, do we have to hear that “I’m coming home” song AGAIN for the next 3 months?!
– I’d say that the Cena Royal Rumble win guaranteed a Rock title win but since he’s signed up for the Elimination Chamber, anything can happen.
– Definitely time to sit back and enjoy some spectacular storytelling!
– I had a flashback of HHH & Kurt Angle at SummerSlam during a similar spot when the table collapsed. I don’t think Angle ever fully recovered from that concussion.
– Very Attitude Era-esque cluster-finish to that match & we ALL knew that Rock was winning the title eventually but it would’ve been nice to see a swerve this time around & to go with a switch at the Elimination Chamber PPV but all in all it was a good match.
– On the bright side, this allows more time for the CM Punk/Undertaker feud to develop & THAT’S the WrestleMania match I’m looking forward to.
