Paramount Home Entertainment has officially detailed the Blu-ray release of Jack Reacher, starring Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Werner Herzog, Jai Courtney, and Richard Jenkins. It will street on May 7th. Based on best-selling author Lee Child’s legendary anti-hero, and adapted for the screen and directed by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, The Way of the Gun), the Blu-ray will feature three in-depth features dealing with Reacher’s journey to the screen, the filmmakers’ devotion to remaining true to the essence of the character and their drive to create an action-thriller that harkens back to the landmark films of the ‘70s. The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack also includes a look at the training and stunt choreography behind the gritty and intense fight sequences, an exploration of the Reacher phenomenon around the world with Lee Child, as well as commentaries by Tom Cruise, director Christopher McQuarrie and composer Joe Kraemer.
The film is presented in 1080p high definition with multiple audio tracks, including English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital.
