Jack Swagger’s DUI Case Is Going To Trial

Swagger Mugshot 2

Jack Swagger (real name Jacob Hager) received some unfortunate news this morning when the Gulfport Municipal Court set a trial date of June 25th for his DUI arrest on February 19th.

About an hour after the conclusion of a SmackDown taping on 2/19, a Gulfport, MS police officer flagged his Ford Taurus at 55 mph in a 45 mph zone.

The police report said the officer found a small amount of marijuana in the car and suspected he was driving under the influence of pot. Swagger was arrested on the spot and released an hour later to a friend.

“The Gulfport city prosecutor Kirk Clark said he always recommends the maximum sentence of two days in jail for first-time offenders and the completion of victim-impact classes.

Swagger’s charges carry fines of $437.25 for the marijuana, $188 for driving 10 mph over the speed limit, and $1,300 for driving impaired on a first DUI offense.”

Harrak’s Thought: Obviously this is awful news for Swagger but he absolutely brought it on himself. I think it’s a safe bet that we’ve seen the end of Jack Swagger’s push.
