The Quarterfinal round voting has ended and the votes came in fast and furious. Over 10,000 total votes came in for this round alone. One matchup came down to the final seconds. Which couples are moving on to the Final Four? Lets break down the Quarterfinal Round action!

The final matchup in the ABC Region featured an interesting contest between Neal and Peter from USA Network’s White Collar, and Dean and Sam from The CW’s Supernatural. Neal and Peter led for the majority of the time, but a late push for Dean and Sam almost changed that. In the end, though, Neal and Peter were able to hold off Dean and Sam by just 30 votes. Neal and Peter advance to the Final Four.

The FOX region saw David Sawyer and Brian Collins from NBC’s New Normal take on Lily and Marshall from CBS’s How I Met Your Mother. This one was really no contest. Like they have done the entire tournament, David and Brian pulled off another upset and defeated Lily and Marshall with 63% of the vote.
That was by far the largest margin of victory from this round of the tournament.

The CBS region featured the most intense matchup of the entire tournament thus far. Kurt and Blaine from FOX’s Glee went back and forth with Catherine and Vincent from The CW’s Beauty and the Beast. These two couples have had the most passionate fan bases of any in this tournament, and this matchup proved that once again. Once all of the votes were counted for, only 10 votes made the difference. Catherine and Vincent pulled out the narrow win and are moving on to the next round.

Finally, the NBC region saw a relatively close matchup between two couples from two different FOX shows. Santana and Brittany from Glee ultimately knocked out the last remaining seeded couple, the #2 seed Jess and Nick from New Girl. Santana and Brittany won with 54% of the vote.

We are now down to the final 4 couples. There are no top seeds left. But these four couples have had the largest followings and vote totals in each round. Lets take a closer look at the Final Four match ups.

In one matchup, we have a cable show couple vs. a major network couple battle. The couple from NBC, David Sawyer and Brian Collins, are only in its first season. Can Brian and David continue their run through the tournament against the duo from White Collar who have been working together for four seasons already?

In the other matchup, it was almost an All-Glee semi-final. But instead it’s Catherine and Vincent
facing another Glee couple. Can Catherine and Vincent defeat Santana and Brittany or will the Glee fans join together and put all of their support behind Santana Brittany now that Kurt and Blaine are no longer in the tournament?

2013 Inside Pulse Best Television Show Couple Tournament Bracket

Remember, when you do place your votes in this tournament, you should always vote on who is the best TV couple RIGHT NOW. Some of these couples have been around for years, but some are brand new. This is not an All-Time tournament. This is as of right now, who is the best. And remember, what you are really voted on is which relationship is the best for that show? If you took out these characters from a show, would it be the same? If it wouldn’t, that is who you would vote for.

One last note on the voting controversies. I have no problem with multiple votes from the same person. But if I see multiple votes from the same computer or same location within a short amount of time, I will adjust the results accordingly. I don’t want the results to be skewed by a bot or anything else like that.

Now on with the matchups and let the voting begin!

Each of these polls will stay open for one week. Next week the next round begins and we will continue until the final TV couple is crowned as the best some time around the end of April. Remember to tell all of your friends to vote as well and double check to make sure you voted in all of the polls!

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
