The World Series of Fighting will be returning Friday, June 14, live on NBC Sports.
The main event is officially Jon Fitch vs. Josh Burkman at 170 lbs. Burkman is coming off a first round KO of Aaron Simpson at WSOF 2. Fitch will be making his promotional debut in WSOF coming off a release from the UFC. He’s 1-2 in his last three fights, knocked by Johny Hendricks and dominated in a decision loss to Demian Maia sandwiching a decision victory over Erick Silva.
Tyrone “King of the Ring” Spong will be making his second appearance in the WSOF, his second MMA fight ever, against Angel “The Dream” DeAnda.
