News

The UFC Heavyweight division just got a big addition as Josh Barnett, who last fought in the UFC at UFC 36, has resigned with the promotion. This per MMA Junkie. This came after an initial courtship between the two failed due to an inability to agree to a contract.

An official announcement is expected soon.

Barnett would beat Randy Couture at UFC 36 for the UFC heavyweight title but a post fight drug test would reveal three banned substances in his system. He would piss hot again two weeks out from an Affliction fight with Fedor Emelianenko in 2009. He would also fail one at UFC 34, as well.
