Per his Twitter feed Mauricio “Shogun” Rua won’t be facing Chael Sonnen at UFC 161 after all. Rua has been pulled from the card and will be rescheduled for the UFC on Fox Sports 1 debut card.
No opponent has been set for Rua yet but it’s heavily rumored that Rua vs. Sonnen will be the co-main event of that card.
In its place on the main card will be Ryan Jimmo vs. Igor Pokrajac. The card has been shortened to 11 total fights.
