The wrestling world lost one of the most underrated performers of the 90s when Matthew Wade Osborne died on June 28th. Most well-known for portraying the “evil” version of the wrestling clown Doink, Osborne wrestled everywhere from World Class Championship Wrestling to WCW, WWE and ECW before his semi-retirement in 1994.
To most of us Borne will always be the madman behind the makeup that terrorized the then-WWF in the early 90s. An “evil clown” was the perfect villain of the cartoon age of the WWF & will always be one of the more memorable characters from that time period.
