Murtz On The Scene: Exclusive Interview With Brodus Clay

Features, Interviews, Top Story

While the majority of WWE fans know Brodus Clay as The Funkasaurus, a disco-loving professional wrestler, he can now add actor to his resume as well.

Clay makes his feature film acting debut in No One Lives, an Anchor Bay Films and WWE Studios production which was released to retail on August 20.

The film tells the story of a man who will go to all lengths to ensure that no one lives. The movie stars Luke Evans (The Raven, Fast And Furious 6) and Adelaide Clemens (Rectify, The Great Gatsby) and is the story of a ruthless criminal gang that takes a young couple hostage in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are turned and the gang finds that they messed with the wrong serial killer.

Brodus Clay plays one of the gang members, Ethan, and is chiefly responsible for the most memorable scene in the entire movie.

At Fan Expo Canada, I caught up with Clay and asked him about the movie and his new role. We also chatted about his ability to play so many different types of characters and why we tend to root for the bad guy in the movie and how the protagonist is almost a “likeable serial killer.” Check out the video above!

No One Lives is currently available for purchase. More information about the movie is available at noonelivesthemovie.com
