Murtz On The Scene: Exclusive Interview With Aaron Turner & Jasmine Harper

Features, Interviews, Top Story, Video

Widely regarded to be one of the best seasons of So You Think You Can Dance of all-time, the tenth season of Fox’s hit reality program crowned its newest champions on Tuesday night.

While the story of tap dancer Aaron Turner and contemporary dancer Jasmine Harper barely making it into the Top 20 was certainly one of the highlights of the season, unfortunately their storybook ending was not to be as the tallest dancers in the competition found themselves just short of capturing the America’s Favorite title as the pair lost out to Fik-Shun Stegall and Amy Yakima.

I had the chance to catch up with Aaron and Jasmine on the post-finale red carpet and we chatted about a variety of topics including whether the loss stung even more after coming so close, if America preferred smaller dancers to taller ones and what numbers they would like to perform on the tour.
