Supergirl #24 Spoilers: The Big Bads Attack! Cyborg Superman, Brainiac & The Path To Krypton Returns? (DC Comics New 52 In Review)

Building on the cliffhanger ending to Supergirl #23, and the Action Comics #23.1 / Cyborg Superman #1 Villains Month DC New 52 book, the current Cyborg Superman arc in Supergirl comes to a close with issue #24.

Spoilers follow.

At the end of last month’s Supergirl #23 issue we learned that Supergirl’s father Zor-el was in fact Cyborg Superman and in Action Comics #23.1 / Cyborg Superman #1 during September’s Villains Month we learned how that happened.

In Supergirl #24, Cyborg Superman turns on his creator leaving Supergirl to escape and run head on into…

…Oracle! Last seen I believe at the end of the H’el on Earth mini-event in Superman #17 after debuting in the pages of Superman #0.

And this leads into ANOTHER the next inter-book Superman Family event called Krypton Returns in the pages of:

    * Action Comics Annual #2
    * Superboy #25
    * Supergirl #25
    * Superman #25

The Superman #23.3 / H’el #1 Villains Month book has key sequences that leads into this Krypton Returns event including Superman’s dad Jor-el who is on of the interlocking covers for the issues above that together make up the following image:
