Top 3 Amazing X-Men #1 Spoilers: Where Is Nightcrawler, Who Are The Amazing X-Men & More? (All-New Marvel Now In Review)

News, Spoilers

I’m a pretty huge Nightcrawler fan from back in the day.

It seems that the new All-New Marvel Now ongoing series by writer Jason Aaron and artist Ed McGuinness opens with the Quest For Nightcrawler. The book shows promise.

It looks like Jason Aaron read this old chestnut (see right). ;)

Glad to see some of the olde 1980’s mini-series’ themes and concepts are being expounded on in 2013.

SPOILERS follow for Amazing X-Men #1. Please tread carefully.

(3) Where Is Nightcrawler? Did He Really Die?

Nightcrawler did in fact die. The book opens up on the plan of existence Nightcrawler currently is on. In my years of not reading Marvel Comics, I understand it was revealed that red-hued mutant-demon Azazel and blue-hued mutant-terrorist Mystique were Nightcrawler’s parents. So, it looks like this opening arc will focus on Nightcrawler’s daddy issues.

(2) Who Are the Amazing X-Men?

Looks like Jean Grey School for Gifted Youngsters has a blue Bampf problem. And a new X-Men team is formed to combat the little tykes! ;)

(1) What’s Next?

It looks like we get an attack of Azazel’s red bampfs with Nightcrawlers blue bampfs and all heck breaks loose! That culminates with two or more of the Amazing X-Men being transported to the ethereal plane Nightcrawler and Azazel are doing battle in!

Will Nightcrawler return the land of the living? I guess this arc will answer that question.

Thanks for reading. All feedback welcome. :)
