Murtz On The Scene – The Voice Results Finale – Exclusive Red Carpet Video Interview With Jacquie Lee

When discussing last night’s Voice</> season finale, there were really two schools of thought. I personally believed that Tessanne Chin was at a disadvantage because Jacquie was able to close Monday’s show and I thought that was a critical factor in terms of who viewers were likely to remember. With that said, Tuesday’s iTunes listings indicated that Tessanne had charted better than her competitors and ultimately was declared the winner in a final showdown that was truly too close to call.

Jacquie Lee had an amazing run on the show and effortlessly displayed her vocal conditioning every week with strong ballads under the tutelage of Christina Aguilera.

On Tuesday’s finale episode, Jacquie joined her fellow contestants for a group performance at the top of the show. She also participated in a “Bring Back” group performance where she chose Matthew Schuler, Cole Vosbury, James Wolpert and Caroline Pennell to join her for a rousing rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

She also joined Paramore for a special duet performance.

At the end of the show, after Will was eliminated as the first-runner up of the Final 3, Jacquie joined Tessanne for a tension-filled moment prior to Carson announcing that Tessanne Chin was the victor.

I had the chance to catch up with Jacquie on the red carpet, immediately following the announcement of Tessanne as the winner. I told her about the friend we have in common, asked her about the Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera collaboration and I also asked her what she thought the decision came to and if age and experience played a role.
