Murtz On The Scene: Exclusive Interview With The Ultimate Fighter‘s Chad Laprise

Interviews, Top Story, Video

In what promises to be one of the most entertaining seasons of The Ultimate Fighter ever, one fighter from London, Ontario is definitely a contender to win the whole show.

Chad Laprise, boasts an undefeated record of 7-0 heading into the show and trains out of the impressive Tristar camp.

Nicknamed “Desciple,” Laprise has his wedding ring tattooed to his finger so that he never has to take it off when he trains.

Yesterday at the exclusive The Ultimate Fighter premiere party at Rogers Sportsnet in Toronto, I caught up with Laprise to ask him about his time in the house, if the cameras affected his training and his larger-than-life personality.

We discussed his “Spartan” nickname, whether the fighters in the house actually got along (as they are all literally living with their competition) and what it was like working with Team Canada coach, Patrick Cote.
