The Joker’s Daughter has been one of the stand-outs from DC Comics’ New 52 efforts to revitalize some stagnant properties. In the New 52, the character seemingly is no longer the Riddler’s Daughter as she was in the Silver Age, but a new grotesque woman who had a stealth debut that allowed that issue of Catwoman to do well in the after-market on eBay and other places.
The character acquired Joker’s flesh mask – skinned in the first issue of the DC New 52’s Detective Comics – in an interesting fashion as revealed in her Villains Month’s spotlight issue.
What followed was a formidable foe for Catwoman as seen in the follow-up to her stealth debut.
Well, DC is doubling down on the character as she gets one of their several female one-shot issues of 2014 and USA Today has the preview of Batman: The Joker’s Daughter #1.
