The Joker’s Daughter has been one of DC Comics’ New 52 success stories having revitalized a very different Silver Age character for a new generation.
She had a stealth debut in Catwoman. She sported Joker’s flesh mask, skinned by the Dollmaker in Detective Comics #1 at part of the New 52 kick-off. The Joker’s Daughter’s villains month 3D covered book revealed how she acquired the Joker’s face after which she continued to tangle with the Catwoman in her own series in an impactful way.
The Joker’s Daughter gets another one-shot spotlight this time as part of DC Comics New 52’s “ladies spotlights” in Batman: Joker’s Daughter #1. The preview of the one-shot issue was creepy as was the rest of the issue.

She confronts the Dollmaker to make her flesh mask more permanent; to make it her actual face. It is a bizarre sequence to get to the final new (and improved?) Joker’s Daughter?
To make the metamorphosis complete, the Joker’s Daughter also facilitates getting the Joker’s own blood to course through her veins…
And, has Mister J – The Joker – been watching his acolyte? Move over Harley Quinn…
