In order to drive more people to the Monday Night Raw pre-show on the WWE Network and to the WWE App during Raw, WWE ran two angles involving Damien Sandow and Alicia Fox.
On the Raw pre-show, Damien Sandow cut a “Pipe Bomb” like promo venting his frustrations with WWE.
Then, on the WWE App following her outburst on Raw after losing to Paige for the umpteenth time, Alicia Fox approached Stephanie McMahon and supposedly quit WWE.
The indication with the Alicia Fox move is that it was storyline-driven and not her leaving for real.
Of course, Melina vs. Alicia Fox is the greatest match of all-time, so WWE really can’t afford to lose her.
