Murtz On The Scene: Big Brother Canada 2 – Day After Season Finale Interview With Winner Jon Pardy

Features, Interviews, Top Story, Video

The day after Jon Pardy was named the winner of Big Brother Canada 2, I was lucky enough to sit-down with him in the HOH room for an extended interview.

Before I give you the rundown of the interview, I do want to say that I believe Jon is a deserving winner. He won critical competitions near the end and wasn’t afraid to make big moves when they were necessary (cutting Arlie and Heather for example). While I was initially shocked by the fact that Neda didn’t win (just because my admiration for her is evident), that should take nothing away from Jon, and clearly the best move of the entire game was his decision to cut Neda at the end which ultimately resulted in him winning the show.

When we sat down, we obviously talked about Jon’s decision to evict Neda and I asked him if he felt like he learned the game as it went along. We discussed Adel’s eviction and how he was able to recover from it as it appeared like Adel had his back to the end of the game. Jon revealed that his ideal F3 would have been himself, Adel and Neda but makes a shocking revelation about who he would have chosen to bring to the end in that scenario as well. I asked him if he actively played up to Canada, knowing that the country would play an integral role on this year’s show or if it was just his natural instinct. Finally, I asked Jon about how he was able to absolutely destroy the final trivia competitions on the show.
